Here’s a sad story out of the Seattle area. It’s every Airstream enthusiast’s nightmare.

Thieves have stolen one family’s 1959 Airstream travel trailer. Perhaps even more sickening, it’s speculated that the criminals’ goal may be to turn the lovingly restored vintage unit into scrap metal.

Our recent “brush with theft” happened in Las Vegas, when Kristy’s bike was stolen from our campsite. I hate to say it, but these sorts of incidents should put us all on high alert. Go ahead and invest in some extra locks and chains (or whatever else we need).
