Although we’re usually toting around video cameras, we also have a still camera and a couple of lenses in the toolkit. We’ve taken plenty of stills along the way. I’ll try to do a better job of getting them online.

By the way, if you enjoy our blog you should consider following us on Facebook. We do mobile uploads on FB from our cellphone. (I will try to add that functionality to LongLongHoneymoon.com. These things take time when you are on the road!)

We stopped to visit with Louie, who served with Kristy's father in the Navy. Louie's wife makes legendary blueberry jam with wild Maine blueberries! We were fortunate to leave with more than one jar of this precious item.

Low's Bridge

This bridge was originally built in 1830! After suffering flood damage in the 1980s, it was restored and presumably reinforced. As you can see, it handled our Airstream just fine.

Hard at play on Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park. Those timelapse shots in our video each take a while to shoot.

I breath in really deep when I look at the bridge picture. I have been on some SMALL roads lately. My nerves are at their end.

I hear ya! For us the nerve-wracking moments on this trip have been hauling our rig through places like D.C., New York / New Jersey, and Montreal. (The highway system in Montreal has apparently been designed to impede the flow of traffic.) Brace yourself for those urban areas, if you decide to go there.

Some things do get easier. A couple of years ago backing up the trailer was a major hassle. But now I feel I’m qualified to drive an 18-wheeler…
