Airstream and KOA have launched a joint venture allowing people to rent nights in new Airstreams. This is actually a great way for those curious about Airstreams and RVing to test the waters. It would also just make for a fun trip.
We’ve stayed at the Las Vegas KOA. We had a great time, err, despite the fact that Kristy’s bike was stolen. The campground is pretty much an asphalt parking lot, but the location is excellent. It’s a short jaunt to all the wonders and temptations of the Vegas Strip. It’s certainly one of the more unique camping locales we’ve experienced. At night, it’s even sort of scenic in its own way.

From the site: “Enhance your visit to Las Vegas by staying in an American icon. These fully furnished RVs include sleeping for up to 4 people, linens, dishes, & 2 TV’s. Be sure to book early to avoid missing out on this unique experience.”
It looks like they are charging about $140 per night. Who says you can’t put a price tag on the RV experience?
