Most of us who tow our RVs use burly pickup trucks for the task. In our case, we have a Ford F250 diesel we call SEEMORE.
Sadly, our truck came with only one keyless remote. Some dealerships want more than $100 for these remotes. So I’d rather pay $2.82 for this one: http://goo.gl/SoOsP1
You use these little remotes to unlock and lock your truck doors, and they also are able to activate the alarm. If you happen to be chased back to your vehicle by a rampaging grizzly bear, you’ll be happy to have that alarm functionality.
Although this keyless remote is meant for Ford trucks, you can find all sorts of inexpensive keyless remotes online. Yes, GM fans, I’m talking to you. (One of my missions in life is to broker goodwill between Ford and GM fans. Afterwards, I’ll move on to easier tasks like peace in the Middle East.)
